Bibby Distribution has bought Toyota’s first UK generation eight gas forklift, for its depot in Leeds. The 8FGCU series has a built in active stability system, ensuring maximum safety for its drivers. TIE also provides a service support system, where the trucks are serviced every seven to eight weeks, to ensure they work at optimal level.
Jason Mearns, Bibby’s operational development manager, said: “This new generation of truck means that we will continue to have the reliability and flexibility of Toyota counterbalanced trucks. The new truck is physically smaller but has the same capabilities of the larger trucks, so is more versatile.”
