Stiller Warehousing & Distribution has achieved bonded status for its warehousing complex located off the M1 at Darton, near Barnsley. Containers are shipped into UK ports and transported under bond by rail to Leeds. They then travel from Leeds to Darton by road.
All goods are held under customs bond until sold, with Stiller handling customs payments for VAT and duty.
Stiller has made significant investment into its IT capabilities to ease the process; bond operations will be administered using a combination of CNS and LSI Sigma software.
The company also handles re-exports under bond, providing end to end solutions.
