Jaguar and Land Rover have given their support to Transaid to help boost the international development charity’s African operations. The companies have become the charity’s latest corporate members in an effort to help provide sustainable transport solutions in areas of the world where little or no infrastructure exists.
Kevin Wall, materials planning and logistics director for Jaguar and Land Rover, said: “Jaguar and Land Rover’s commitment to Transaid is based on the belief that by giving maintenance staff logistics and operations training, their existing resources, including land rovers can become more efficient and will have their life span extended in the field.”
