Fresh fish and seafood products supplier Cumbrian Holdings has taken a 125,087 sq ft unit at Grantside’s Foxcover Distribution Park in Seaham, County Durham.
The company have secured a lease at a rent of £4.75 per sq ft in what is being hailed as the regions biggest letting this year at the former Dawdon Colliery site. The building, which was completed in November 2005, is the first industrial phase of development at Foxcover, which will total over 350,000 sq ft when complete.
A second phase of development has recently been completed at Foxcover offering two further units of 37,000 sq ft and 62,000 sq ft, which are available to let. Grantside is planning a third phase of development, due to start later this year.
