A shortage of space for medium sized operations in Avonmouth has meant that two out of the three units to be speculatively developed by developer St Modwen at its Access 18 scheme have already been let.
The three units totalling 80,000 sq ft are to be built adjacent to the warehouse to which national paper distributor Antalis will relocate its office and distribution centre when completed in July.
Distribution firms are currently in negotiation to occupy units of 28,406 sq ft and 9,586 sq ft.
The scheme includes a new entrance to Access 18 off Kings Weston Lane as well as significant environmental and landscape improvements. A further 40,000 sq ft (3,716 sq m) remains available to let or for sale on a long lease.
