TDG has recruited four people to its solutions design and business development teams. Clare Galloway and Ian Jackson join as solutions managers. Galloway joins from the Royal Mail where she worked in network design. Jackson joins from Christian Salvesen where his latter role saw him working with their consumer and retail business. Their appointments will allow TDG to extend its solutions capabilities and support TDG’s growing European presence resulting from recent acquisitions.
Mike Sacker has joined and is tasked with generating new fourth party logistic opportunities to support TDG’s strategy of creating value-based long-term customer relationships. He was previously with DHL Exel.
Rob Hutton joins TDG with a remit to strengthen TDG’s relationship with steel manufacturer Corus. Corus and TDG’s seven-year partnership, announced in January 2006, encompasses the management of Corus’ UK road transport services from a centralised transport planning “Platform”, based in Scunthorpe.
