Baracoda, the manufacturer of Bluetooth wireless barcode readers and RFID solutions, has launched D-Fly, a wireless scanner designed for mobile environments. The idea is to meet the occasional scanning operation needs of workforces on the move.
The unit weighs only 52g and connects easily to any mobile device (PDA, mobile phone, laptop, smartphone, etc.) using the BaracodaManager connectivity system, which the company provides free with this product. It is also compatible with a wide range of platforms: Windows, Windows Mobile and CE.Net, Palm, Symbian, and BlackBerry.
