Start-rite Shoes has chosen Owens Conveyor Company to supply its newly designed heavy duty vehicle loader to help load and unload container vehicles.
The loader incorporates an extending tongue now capable of stretching up to 11 metres into the truck.
At the push of a button the height adjustment is varied to accommodate many different tailboard heights.
The powered tongues have been designed to be “plug and play” and can be replaced on site. The loader also incorporates a self levelling tongue system eliminating setup time when changing between different types of vehicles.
Philip Daynes of Start-rite says: “This newly designed machine is used on a daily basis and has saved man hours and reduced health and safety risks within our warehouse facility”.
