Gladman Developments has won detailed planning permission for its distribution scheme in Suffolk.
It has started on site with a speculative 200,000 sq ft industrial and distribution development comprising two warehouses of 140,000 sq ft (G-Space 140) and 58,000 sq ft (G-Space 60) on a 12.11-acre site at Saxham Business Park adjacent to J41 of the A14 and three miles west of Bury St Edmunds.
The G-Space 140 has 15m eaves height, while the G-Space 60 has 10m eaves. Both have multi dock levellers. Joint letting agents Strutt & Parker and Barker Storey Matthews are quoting £5.95 per sq ft. The freehold is also available at a quoting price of £90 a sq ft.
Saxham Business Park is already an established distribution location, where Christian Salvesen, TTS Tool Technique Systems, Micheldever Tyres, DT Food and Claas Agricultural Machinery all have large units.
