A revised Certificate for Professional Competence driver training guide has been released, comprising amendments made as a result of feedback from the training providers and employers who have gone through the approvals process for delivery of driver CPC over the last few months.
Trainer information must now be submitted with the application for the course they are to deliver, rather than when the centre applies for approval.
Other changes involve clearer definitions of the courses and the requirements for trainers.
