Petit Forestier, which provides refrigerated vehicle rental and contract hire services, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The company, established in Nanterre near Paris in 1907, originally specialised in transporting live animals.
It now has operations in France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg, the UK and Poland and an annual turnover of more than 350 million euros.
It plans to begin operations in a further six countries by the end of the decade and is aiming to double turnover by 2012.
