Ergo Floor Systems won a contract to supply and install its Traficline interlocking PVC floor tiles into four UK based NHS supply chain logistics centres. The customer required a tough floor covering capable of taking the rigorous demands of both wheeled and pedestrian traffic, and one that could be easily installed with minimum disruption to the daily work activities. The floor also needed to be comfortable to work on and easy to clean and maintain.
One of the key benefits of Traficline is the speed of installation. The interlocking systems mean the tiles can be dry laid directly onto the existing sub floor without the need for adhesive or extensive preparation work. Since there are no volatile organic chemicals, fitters can complete the installation work while operational areas remain open, saving both time and money. Once installed the floor can be trafficked immediately.
Traficline tiles conform to current CE legislation EN 14041, and are supplied with a factory applied stain proof UV surface protection. They are available in four surface textures and 10 standard colours enabling a flexible design layout.
