By wpengineIKEA and DHL’s home delivery sector have conducted tests on an electric vehicle at the retail giant’s Ashton-under-Lyme store near Manchester.
The 7.5-tonne vehicle, which is manufactured by Smith Electric Vehicles, is reckoned to be the largest and most powerful zero emission truck in the world.
It has been tested by IKEA as part of a DHL environmental initiative.
