Knapp UK is opening a service centre at Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire to meet the needs of its growing service operations.
Managing director Mike Cogger said: “Our growth here in the UK has mirrored that of the Knapp Group as a whole during the past few years.”
Over the past 10 years, Knapp UK has installed some 55 handling systems. It is the growing number of large, automated systems in the UK and Ireland, which require specialist maintenance, that has led the company to open these new premises. The new site will become a comprehensive service centre for the maintenance, repair, expansion and upgrading of automated handling systems, also incorporating a workshop and a parts refurbishing facility.
