Jungheinrich has sold more than 500 of its Kombi EKX 5 series globally since it was launched six months ago.
The order picker / stacker uses RFID to boost performance and safety. Transponders are set into the floor to automatically adjust the truck’s speed as it travels around the warehouse or distribution centre.
These enable the truck to slow down when it reaches the end of an aisle or when working in poor quality floor areas when carrying sensitive goods.
