Industrial Labelling Systems has installed print & apply labelling systems, at Wolseley UK’s 353,000 sq ft national distribution centre at Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.
Wolseley, which supplies plumbing and heating products, will use the system for dispatch labelling and invoice/parts list document insertion.
The systems were supplied with barcode scanners which read the label at the time of printing; the scanned digits can then be relayed back to the host system to confirm the document matches the correct container.
