Wincanton has extended its drinks operation with a five year deal with E&J Gallo.
It will manage national warehousing and distribution from its bonded shared user site in Daventry, delivering over 13 million cases of product across the UK to a number of retailers.
Wincanton says it will generate efficiency improvements through a collaborative approach, while the effects of seasonal troughs will be offset by the sharing of the warehousing and distribution.
Wincanton will also manage the port to DC operations and added value services such as product co-packing which will process up to 250,000 cases a year across a number of skus.
