Border Traffic Service has become one of the first operators in the North East of England to take delivery of a new Stralis, featuring Iveco’s freshly designed heavy truck cab launched earlier this year.
Supplied by North East Truck & Van, the Euro 5 Stralis AT260S31YP/S 6×2 rigid features a lifting rear-steering axle and benefits from an Active Time high-roof cab.
It joins a fleet of twenty commercial vehicles operated by Border Traffic Service, which already comprises ten existing Stralis tractor units and rigids. It will be followed on 1 March 2008 by the delivery of a new Stralis AS440S55TX/P tractor unit, featuring the flagship Active Space Super³ cab, which is currently on order with NETV.
