Arla Foods has ordered 193 EGR, euro 4 trucks from Scania, including both tractor units and distribution trucks, for its operations in Sweden, Denmark and the UK.
The Danish dairy products group will use the trucks for distribution services in urban areas and long-haul transport between its depots. The order- one of the largest Scania has received from a Scandinavian-based customer – includes repair and maintenance contracts for all of the trucks.
Deliveries from Scania will begin during 2008 and will be completed early in 2009.
