Development partners Sladen Estates and Peveril Securities have secured a site in Thorne, Doncaster where they intend to build a 227,603 sq ft warehouse with two storey integral offices, a large goods yard and 111 car parking spaces set within a landscaped plot.
Simon Lewis of Sladen Estates said “We feel that our investment in this area now further secures its position as Yorkshire’s number one distribution location.”
The building will benefit from a BREEAM ‘Very Good Rating’, which acknowledges the use of energy efficient features designed to minimise environmental impact.
P227 sits adjacent to the M18 and is triangulated by the M62 and the A1 (M). It is being jointly marketed by M3 and Gent Visick.
