The former chief executive of Lynx Express is backing the development of online toolkit for people managers. David Burtenshaw has been joined by former colleague and fellow investor Ted Stanley who joins as non-exec director.
The toolkit has been designed for all kinds of businesses from SMEs to major organisations but is particularly targeted at multi-site operations.
The injection of capital will enable the company to further expand into new markets with the logistics sector being an early priority.
Burtenshaw said: “In my previous role as CEO of Lynx I had been looking for a solution exactly like this. We had 3,500 employees working across more than 50 locations and it was difficult to keep track of everything.
“Here we have one device which we believe will change the face of business. It will not only help line managers keep abreast of new legislation, but also monitor issues such as training, recruitment and absenteeism. Furthermore the fact that it drives managers to follow proper processes we believe it will greatly improve people management at skills at all levels.
