Boughey Distribution has opened a new head office following development of a £15m storage facility at its site at Wardle in Cheshire.
Managing director Keith Forster said the development was a key milestone for the company and highlighted the investment in professional development.

In the past year, Boughey has invested more than £1 million in personnel development programmes, staff facilities, driver training and recruitment.
The investment at Wardle doubles the storage capacity and is creating some 250 new jobs in the area. Boughey currently employs over 600 people at its Wardle (Cheshire) and Deeside (North Wales) sites and invests heavily in supporting the local workforce.
The company previously doubled its storage facility five years ago and has since increased its turnover from £8.5 million to £27.5 million, this new £15 million storage development is expected to further increase the company’s turnover to over £40 million this year.
