Business Post saw sales rise 10 per cent last year, it said in its pre-close trading update. Excluding the revenues from the FedEx contract, which terminated on 30 April 2007, underlying group revenue increased by 16.5 per cent.
“Revenues in our Mail business, UK Mail, increased by some 50 per cent on the previous year, derived from both new contract wins and substantial further business from existing customers. We now handle some 10 per cent of all mail collected in the UK,” the group said.
Overall, the group said, performance was in line with expectations.
