DHL Express has appointed Ken McCall chief executive of its UK and Ireland operations.
Previously he was managing director of Network Operations for DHL Express Europe, and was responsible for the management of the move of its intercontinental hub from Brussels to Leipzig.
Before joining DHL in 2004, McCall spent 25 years at TNT working in various international roles, including a series of senior management roles in Asia, most notably as chief executive of TNT in China.
He is a member of DHL Express’ European Management Board and in his new role will report directly to Scott Price, chief executive of DHL Express Europe.
