Jungheinrich is set to launch its new tow tractor this summer, which can move trailers weighing up to seven tonnes.
The EZS 570 is small in size and has tight turning circles making it highly manoeuvrable and particularly suited for sites where space is at a premium.
It can be fitted with different couplings enabling it to adjust to a wide variety of trailer types and there is also the option of a semi-automatic uncoupling device, which allows the operator to couple and uncouple trailers without leaving the operator platform.
The new tow tractor is designed for use in a variety of environments and is expected to be used in manufacturing sites and warehouse units, as well as in airports.
For additional safety, the EZS 570 has an automatically activated electric brake and thanks to the SpeedControl function can be adjusted to travel at one of three speeds constantly, regardless of gradients.
