Savoye has installed a stand alone preparation system for book distributer Bookpoint at its Abingdon facility.
The system, which incorporates Savoye’s PAC600 packaging technology and conveyors, is worth near to £400,000 and offers automated carton erection, product security and sealing, while allowing orders to be picked directly into the dispatch carton.
It has also been designed to let Bookpoint service a recently acquired contract without impacting on its existing client base.
