Lifelong Learning UK, an independent employer-led sector skills council, has launched its Make a Difference campaign in a bid to attract supply management professionals to roles within further education organisations.
The programme is part of a series of wider initiatives developed to ensure that colleges and work-based, adult and community learning establishments are equipped to serve the needs of learners and businesses, in turn raising the skills level of the UK workforce.
Natasha Tesfai, project manager, said: “Make a Difference provides participants with a tailored leadership development programme in their first year of employment and the opportunity to fast track to a senior leadership role.
“We aim to develop the leaders of the future who will utilise the skills they have gained in their current employment and play a key role in helping their new employer raise the bar of performance and aspiration.”
