Scotland’s H-Logistics has won a contract to procure and deliver supplies to Banlaw Afrique Sarl, a mining services company based in West Africa, in order to help it complete work on a new gold mine before the rain season begins in July.
The company has flown more than £250,000 of spares, components, earthmover tyres and vehicle supplies directly into the country.
The cargo was then transported 240km by road to reach its final destination at Inata, which is on the edge of the Sahara desert.
