Panalpina World Transport has appointed Circle Express to provide its road transport services, in a three-year contract worth an estimated £4 million per year.
Circle will be responsible for the UK mainland collection and delivery service, LHR, Manchester and Birmingham transfer operations, customer specific services, dedicated specials and the warehouse handling service in Birmingham for all Panalpina’s air and ocean divisions.
In addition, Circle and Panalpina plan to develop a fully computerised system for booking jobs, track and trace, proof of delivery systems and invoicing.
