Boughey Distribution has placed an order for Michelin’s new X One MaxiTrailer tyres to be fitted to its new fleet of 100 Montracon and 30 Schmitz Cargobull tri-axle trailers.
The tyres consist of a 400m steel cord wrapped continuously around the crown and have been designed to deliver up to 50 per cent more mileage than standard tyres.
Boughey operates a 100 per cent Michelin tyre policy across its fleet, supported by independent Michelin distributer Quinton Tyres of Greater Manchester.
