Honeywell has updated its Dolphin 7600 mobile computer to include GSM wireless technology and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 mobile operating system.
The device now has wide area networking (WAN) capability and claims to offer a faster and more secure mobile application.
Features include linear and 2D barcode scanning, digital picture taking and paperless signature capture, thanks to the integrated Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0. Plus the wireless technologies enable connectivity to cellular and enterprise networks and peripheral devices.
The Dolphin 7600 GSM is designed for light industrial applications in transportation and logistics, parcel and postal delivery, route accounting and field services.
