Port haulier E T Morris & Sons has added two DAF XF105 mid-lift axle tractor units to its 55-strong fleet to evaluate the model.
The new vehicles will operate from the company’s depot in Hull and will cover an estimated 130,000 km a year, delivering goods to and from the Humber ports of Hull, Goole and Immingham, to the destinations across UK.
The DAFs will pull tri-axle skeletal trailers carrying 40 and 45 ft containers, or curtainsiders and flatbeds carrying forest products or steel.
The trucks were supplied by DAF dealer Imperial Commercials of Scunthorpe.
