Leeds City Council has given planning permission opening up access to some 950,000 sq ft of proposed new industrial space at Aire Valley Land’s Temple Green logistics hub.
Temple Green is the largest of the four development sites in the Leeds City Region Enterprise Zone with planning permission in place for 2.64m sq ft of developed space at J45 of the M1.
An infrastructure and groundworks programme is underway providing direct access to Phase 2 of the scheme, which can accommodate up to 500,000 sq ft of industrial, manufacturing, storage and distribution space.
The most recent planning approvals have allowed work to commence on additional road infrastructure and a bridge over Wyke Beck leading to Phases 3 and 4, which when remediated can accommodate a further 950,000 sq ft of space.
