DPS International has launched the latest version of its logixcentral vehicle routeing and scheduling system www.logixcentral.com, which is designed to be cost effective for fleets of all sizes and is said to help to reduce fuel usage.
Paul Palmer, chief executive of DPS, said: “We would confidently expect a fleet where no computer aided planning is deployed to save in the order of ten per cent, although some clients have saved 25 per cent when planning with logixcentral.”
No additional hardware is needed to support the system and it is designed to create no extra work for IT departments. Maintenance and upgrades are also included within the initial price.
