Sladen Estates and Peveril Securities have announced plans to develop a new green shed at Brook Park in Mansfield.
The 100,557 sq ft warehouse, to be known as P100, will be designed using traditional materials and a specification to reduce the building’s environmental impact. It will have a two storey integral office, a large goods yard and 111 car parking spaces set within a landscaped plot.
It will also achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘Very Good Rating’, which acknowledges the use of energy efficient features designed to minimise the environmental impact of the building. These include the use of 15 per cent roof lights, rainwater harvesting and solar water heating.
P100 is located less than 15 minutes from the M1 at junction 29. Mansfield is ten minutes drive west, accessed via a link road from the A617, the main arterial road connecting the M1, Newark and the A1.
Brook Park totals 93 acres and is on the site of the former Shirebrook Colliery
The scheme is being jointly marketed by King Sturge and M3.
