TT Express is extending its use of Masternaut Three X’s web-based satellite tracking service to its entire HGV fleet following a six month trial.
The software has HourTrak driver hour monitoring and management facilities and has been designed to help the Oldham-based company manage its drivers and vehicles more efficiently, improve its route planning and reduce carbon emissions.
Peter Shepherd, general manager at TT Express, said: “Using the live information and the historical reports we are able to work with our drivers to ensure that they use the most cost-effective routes and make best use of their time and availability.”
The system also integrates with TT Express’s Transport Management software, which provides a link between the live tracking and back office systems.
