The Strategic Manufacturing Awards 2008 is now open for entries until 6th August.
This year’s ceremony, which is being held in conjunction with Manufacturing Business Technology magazine, will take place on 8th October at Swissôtel Düsseldorf, Germany as part of the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit 2008.
Manufacturing Insights and the Institute of Engineering and Technology will also be supporting the event.
Awards will be presented in the following categories: Green Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing IT, Skills in Manufacturing, Demand-Driven Manufacturer of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year and Innovation, which is sponsored by Microsoft.
The judging panel includes Dr. Christof Spathelf, head of manufacturing overseas at Volkswagen and Pierfrancesco Manenti, research director at Manufacturing Insights for the EMEA region.
