AT&T subsidiary Sterling Commerce has created a global electronic invoicing system, designed to enable multi-national companies to keep on top of country-specific tax regulations.
Sterling e-Invoice Gateway also claims to improve operational efficiency, which it says will cut costs.
As the software can keep on top of ever-changing business and technical regulations it has also been suggested that it will help to save companies “millions in significant losses in the form of fines, costly audits and the inability to reclaim VAT”.
