International freight management company Geodis Wilson has bought air and sea freight forwarder Oughtred & Harrison Shipping as it aims to strengthen its business in the UK.
The acquisition will also boost Geodis Wilson’s ocean export business and extend its global network coverage in China and Benelux.
O&H Shipping serves more than 1,900 customers and hopes to deliver an estimated £35 million to the Geodis Group’s net sales, with the combined businesses at current trading expected to generate more than £90 million in net sales.
The integration process will be completed with the next 12 months.
