Diesel engine producer Cummins is outsourcing its freight audit and payment functions to Schneider Logistics Europe for its UK manufacturing plants in Darlington, Daventry and Ramsgate.
Schneider will be responsible for capturing data from carrier invoices, conduct rates, and duplication and execution audits of all freight invoices.
It will also be able to resolve disputes with carriers, interface with Cummins’ accounts payable system and pay the company’s carriers.
