Food and drink supply chain specialist Culina Logistics is set to open its new 191,000 sq ft chilled distribution centre at Haverhill Business Park in Cambridgeshire on 4th August.
The site will be operational 24 hours a day and will feature a state-of-the-art warehouse management system enabling it to monitor and update customer stock levels.
The facility features 25 dock-level loading bays and has space for 75 trucks and trailers. Once operational it will create around 350 new jobs.
The warehouse location was chosen to support suppliers bringing in products from mainland Europe and to enhance supply chain services across the South East.
Culina will operate a network of eight distribution centres once the Haverhill site is complete, providing ambient and temperature-controlled shared-user supply chain solutions for companies including Cadbury Trebor Bassett, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Danone and Weetabix.
