UK Pallets is set to launch a new European service after signing a deal with global logistics services provider Dachser.
Under the agreement, members of UK Pallets, the palletised freight operation within Business Post Group, will have access to the company’s pan-European distribution network.
The service will be supported by an online quotation system and pallet-based tariff structure, which is designed to offer members savings of up to 15 per cent when compared to previous export services.
Daily shipments will be consolidated at UK Pallets’ national hub in Lichfield for onward connection to Dachser’s nightly departures to Europe, with each consignment bar-coded and tracked at each stage of the journey.
