Briggs Equipment has launched a new range of service vans, designed to ease maintenance services for the UK’s tail lit industry.
The 6.5 tonne Iveco Daily, nicknamed Thunderbird, has an extended chassis that features an extended wheel-base with an on-board crane and hoist mechanism.
In the tail lift market, statutory inspections and overload tests are a necessity, and Briggs reckons the new vans will be able to carry everything on board to deliver the weight tests more accurately and safely than before.
In addition to the crane system, each van is kitted out with an on-board welding system.
The vans have been designed and produced in conjunction with QI Van Systems, and are supplied by Fraikin.
