DHL Exel Supply Chain is to roll out a new safety programme to all drivers and crew members working on the Next home delivery contract following a month-long trial by volunteers on the service.
The five-module course, which aims to heighten health and safety awareness, looks at ways to improve the manual handling of goods, as well as other key risk assessment issues.
Drivers who participated in the trial will now pass on the skills they have developed to their colleagues at outbases located throughout England and Wales.
