Speciality retailer Pets At Home has enlisted the help of Unipart Logistics and Manhattan Associates to set up a scalable, menu-priced, e-fulfilment system to enhance its online business.
As part of the joint project, Manhattan Associates implemented its warehouse management solution for open systems at Unipart’s 200,000 sq ft Magna Park site in Lutterworth.
Catriona Marshall, commercial director at Pets At Home, said: “With our main retail business doing so well and the growth for the full range of our products online as yet unproven, we were looking for a low-risk way to assess the potential of an online offering with great customer experience.
“We are confident that it [the e-fulfilment solution] has the capacity to expand seamlessly as our volumes grow.”
