Freight exchange service FreightEx has appointed Tim Phillips as chief executive.
Phillips joins from his role as managing director of VMEX, the web-based car transportation exchange company owned by Autologic.
Prior to VMEX he worked for the BMW Group in the UK and Germany as general manager worldwide car distribution. He has 20 years experience in the sector.
FreightEx is the new name for X4freight, which rebranded following a period of growth across Europe.
