Yearsley Group has purchased Innovate Frozen from its administrators for an undisclosed sum, as it hopes to strengthen its position in the UK cold storage and distribution market.
The company will continue to operate Innovate sites at Bristol, Newark, Chesterfield and Scunthorpe, increasing its client base and doubling its storage capacity to more than 330,000 pallets nationwide.
Long term, Yearsley aims to integrate the two businesses over a managed period of time.
Following the acquisition, Harry Yearsley, managing director of the company, said: “We are committed to the future growth and long term development of the business.”
