Kuehne + Nagel has ordered a further 205 trailers from TIP Trailer Services following the recent completion of its first order for 155 curtainsided trailers on a seven-year long-term lease.
All 360 of the 13.6m trailers are being operated by KN Drinks Logistics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the K+N Group, with the latest order due for delivery in September.
Of the original 155 trailers, 30 have been liveried with Kronenberg branding, with the remaining trucks finished in KN Drinks Logistics colours.
All feature a range of internal load restraints for added load stability and have been built by Don-Bur in Stoke-on-Trent.
The trailers will predominantly operate within the company’s UK distribution fleet, moving drinks from national and regional manufacturers into the KN Drinks Logistics regional warehouse network and then onward to end customers.
