Tyre distributor ATS Euromaster is taking delivery of 150 light commercial vehicles from Mercedes, Iveco and Renault as part of its £4.5 million fleet replacement programme for 2008.
The extended fleet will comprise primarily of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Iveco Daily and Renault Kangoo vans, all of which are being supplied on four and five year contract hire agreements.
The vehicles will be split into mobile fitting units for cars and commercial vehicles, frontline rapid-response vehicles to provide emergency roadside assistance, flatbeds to transport agricultural tyres and smaller vans for use by the company’s mobile fleet inspection department.
ATS Euromaster will also be trialling a new mobile truck tyre fitting machine, designed to fit tyres on location more “quickly, efficiently and safely”.
Once the delivery is complete the company will have more than 1,200 light commercial vehicles and 400 cars operating throughout the UK.
