The FTA has appointed Ian Jones, managing director of Mercedes-Benz UK, Graham Roberts, non-executive director of PD Ports, and Ian Veitch, chief executive officer of NYK Logistics to its 2008/09 board.
The board supervises the management of the FTA’s business through chief executive Theo de Pencier. It comprises nine members who are elected annually by the FTA Freight Transport Council, plus a maximum of six members that it co-opts.
